AAE’s education policy work focuses on three questions: structure, quality and fairness of engineering education.
- Provide evidence for government decisions on the placement of engineering programmes, intake numbers and quality assurance.
- Promote sensible articulation between vocational and higher education, avoiding a mismatch between qualification levels and job requirements.
- Focus on participation of girls, rural students and students with disabilities in engineering education.
- Offer advice on engineering qualification frameworks, professional accreditation and cross-border recognition.
