Beyond initial education, many engineers and technicians need to update their skills in practice. AAE works with companies, vocational colleges and professional bodies to provide short, job-oriented training.
- Offer short courses on needs such as new energy, electrification, digital manufacturing and infrastructure maintenance.
- Deliver training through face-to-face workshops, online courses and on-site enterprise practice.
- Issue a joint certificate from AAE and the partner to those who complete training and pass assessment.
- Have industry help design the curriculum, so that training does not drift away from real job tasks.
