Run jointly with WIDCO (the World Innovation Development Cooperation Organization), this programme invites international scholars and experts with a strong engineering record who are willing to contribute time to engineering capacity building in Africa.
- Host visiting international scholars at African universities and research institutes for lectures, joint supervision and short courses.
- Support African young engineers and researchers in short visits and exchange at partner institutions.
- Organise joint research around real African engineering problems, producing reports that governments and industry can use.
- Participation is for knowledge transfer and capacity building, not for degree awarding or commercial engagement.
